About Sue and Rob
Susan Cosentini
Susan Cosentini is a native Ithacan and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Education from Cornell University and is a member of the Cornell Athletic Hall of Fame. Susan has over twenty-five years’ experience in the building trades starting. Her company Cosentini Construction has built or remodeled over 500 homes in the area and has been awarded the Big50 award by Remodeling magazine. Susan is Past President of Tompkins Cortland Builders and Remodelers Association, and has worked as a volunteer in constructing Hospicare, the Sciencenter, Habitat for Humanity and post Katrina reconstruction in the 9th ward. She is a regular speaker at industry conferences and has written articles for national trade magazines and guest lectured at Cornell University. Susan is also the co-creator of the Listening Workshop. On a personal level, Susan is very proud of her two brilliant daughters, Jamie and Jordan.
Robert Morache
Robert Morache is president of New Earth Strategies, a consultancy providing design and development planning for builders and developers, as well as conducting research related to sustainable infrastructure systems and green affordable housing. He attended the Syracuse University School of Architecture, has taught design in the Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts, and has been a guest lecturer at Cornell University. As a consultant with a number of Upstate New York architecture and development firms he developed his expertise in housing and community design. Robert is a board member of the Green Resource Hub of the Finger Lakes, and actively promotes sustainability oriented planning and development strategies in the community.
